The most blessed dog on the market is the pooch who got a new home after being left in a crate for six months.
The owner, a former boxer, had hoped the pup would be adopted, but he says the only way to do so is to go back to the vet and get a new one.
The dog has a congenital heart defect that can’t be cured, but can be fixed with heart surgery.
His name is Bouncer, and he is one of Australia’s most beloved dogs.
Bouncer is a boxer.
“He is a wonderful, beautiful, gentle and loving dog.
He is a special boy, and his owner has always been there for him,” said Bouncers owner Ben Bounster.”
He’s a good dog.
But he’s not perfect.
Bouncers owners have been using their Facebook page to raise funds for the surgery and new puppy, who Bounsters adopted in January this year.””
We’re a big family, so it’s not something that we can just go to the hospital for, so he needs to be in the family.”
Bouncers owners have been using their Facebook page to raise funds for the surgery and new puppy, who Bounsters adopted in January this year.
“Bouncher is one great little man.
In the video posted on the Facebook page, Mr Bouers mum, Trish, said her dog had been “a blessing to our family”.””
I’ve been lucky enough to raise money for a surgery for Bouncher and we are just about to get the surgery done,” Mr Bounsers Facebook post reads.
In the video posted on the Facebook page, Mr Bouers mum, Trish, said her dog had been “a blessing to our family”.
She said she would love to adopt another dog, but it was not the same.””
He’s the type of dog that if you get him into a crate and leave him alone, he’ll get him out of the crate and back into the litter box and he’ll do well,” she said.
She said she would love to adopt another dog, but it was not the same.
“I’m still going to have to do what I’ve done with Bouner and get him a new litterbox, but we are very grateful for all the help that people have been giving us.”
The video has already attracted more than 200,000 views.
ABC Brisbane’s dog expert, Dr Matthew Daley, said the money raised could help fund a new puppy.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise some funds and help people who might not otherwise have the resources,” Dr Daley said.
“And we think it’s a fantastic opportunity for our viewers to see the life of a boxer that’s been left in such a horrible state.”
Bougie’s mother has been very pleased with her new friend.
“The more people who come to the page and share this page, the more they will help, which is really important because he’s a really wonderful dog and I think he is going to make a wonderful home,” Ms Bougie said.
Bougies owner says she will give her dog another chance The video was filmed in April last year.
When Bougies was two weeks old, he had been left alone in the crate for months.
He was not allowed to walk around and was unable to walk straight away, but Mr Bougys would try to do as much as he could.
Eventually he was taken to the local vet and after some tests, the vet decided to give Bougias new home.
But it was a long and expensive process.
“In those first few months, we just couldn’t afford to go into the vets because it was so expensive,” Ms Daley explained.
So she began a campaign on Facebook to raise awareness about the problem.
“When Bounber came to us, we were just a normal family.
I thought we would have a nice, happy dog,” Ms Waddell said.
