CVS Pharmaceuticals Inc. is paying $500,000 to settle claims from a former executive who alleges that he was discriminated against because he had a disability.
The settlement includes $400,000 in cash for the former executive, who has not been identified.
The money was agreed to by CVS and the former CMO, who is named in a class-action lawsuit filed against the company in February.
The company said it will not make any additional public comments on the matter.CVS shares were trading down more than 2% at $55.82.
The stock has lost more than 13% this year.
